Our tech has over 40 years experience in the electronic service industry.
ChrisDomres has worked in Raleigh since 1985 when we were previously known as Music Tech Services. He worked repairing Audio/Visual equipment for 8 years prior in Florida.
He has been a professional keyboardist since age 16 with a focus on Jazz and Funk/Jazz/Rock fusion styles. He composes electronic music and is an expert on MIDI and computers.
Drop off and Pickup hours:

After completion of the repair, you have 30 days to pick up your item.
After 30 days, a $10 per month storage charge will be added for two more months.
After 60 days you surrender ownership to Pro-Audio & Keyboard Service Center and we will discard, salvage for parts, or sell the item at our discretion.
Exit onto Capital Blvd heading north toward Wake Forest.
Turn right at the third traffic light onto Brentwood Rd.
Turn first left onto Stony Brook Drive.
We are the first business on the left about 1000 yards up the road.
TIP: TO SAVE MONEY WHEN BRINGING IN A POWER AMP, MIXER, EFFECTS DEVICE, REMOVE IT FROM THE RACK OR ROAD CASE.

Pro-Audio & Keyboard Service Center, LLC in Raleigh:
We perform authorized service for many major music equipment manufacturers. We repair guitar and bass amplifiers, both tube and solid state designs, mixing consoles, power amplifiers, keyboards and synthesizers, digital pianos, Hammond organs and Leslie speakers, Lowrey organs, vintage home and church organs, and recording equipment. We are an authorized Yamaha Disklavier servicer. We are also musicians who understand the needs of both professional and amateur musicians .
*Our labor rate is $90/hour for the first hour. Then $80/ hour after that. 6.75% sales tax now added to labor in NC.
*Plus we charge an $8 shop materials charge to cover solder, chemicals, lubricants, nuts and bolts and misc materials.
*Parts are additional.
*We charge a $56.84 diagnostic bench deposit fee for most items when they are checked in. That fee is applied to the first 30 minutes of the repair and towards the materials charge. (Equal to $45 + $8 + NC sales tax))
*Mixing consoles larger than 16 channels and powered mixers require a larger deposit as the time necessary just to test all the channels and functions can extend over 30 minutes.
*If the repair can be completed for under $125, we go ahead and do so as we have the unit all apart.
*If the repair estimate will be over $125 we will call you and discuss your options. If you decline completion of the repair, the bench charge is all that you will have paid. Estimates over $150 require a 50% deposit to continue. This protects us in the cases where we invest time and money into a repair and the customer fails to pick the unit up.
